You need a LIMS card to be able to put information into LIMS. The card is a physical card with a barcode on it that you can scan in with the grocery store style scanner attached to the computer.
Send an e-mail to Riadul Mannan mriad@uoguelph.ca with your full name and e-mail address and ask him to make you a LIMS card. You will need to provide your reason for needing a LIMS card and your association with BIO (for example, you are a Master's student in the Hanner lab).
He will tell you when you can pick up the card.
